About Me

My name is Leren Connor, I could tell you my age but that would mean changing it each year so I will tell you I’m an Aries which makes me a very passionate, strong-willed person. I’m also a yummy mummy to a beautiful little girl called Natayea who makes my whole life worth living!

For the past 6 years I have been on a journey into the fashion industry and I still have a long path to walk down. I started out by teaching my self about basic fashion knowledge from how trends work to designers, how you can find inspiration and turn it into a concept although that came naturally as I studied art at school as well as university. I then went on to to doing a placement with knitwear label Crooked Knitwear where I learned basic pattern cutting and manufacturing, I also helped with some of the accessories and interiors. The placement really gave me an insight on how a business works and how demanding the industry can be but it only made me want it even more for myself which is why in 2012 whilst still studying Fashion at the University of Derby I decided to go self employed. So here at Leren Connor you will find versatile and eclectic clothing and jewelry all handmade by myself. Not only do I source my fabrics from local markets and online fabric stores I also recycle and customise clothing and fabric.

Styling and photography is also a huge aspect of what I do although I have worked with photographers 80% of the time I do my own shoots and when I’m not you can always guarantee I will be directing it. I also have experience in styling music videos and photo shoots.
